An opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Specialist to join Braemar Shipbroking Limited at our London office. We are looking for a dynamic candidate who can work well in a fast-paced and competitive environment. The ideal candidate must have payroll or transferable accounting experience. The successful candidate will excel in attention to detail and work collaboratively with the Human Resources team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly payrolls, liaising with Cloudpay and local payroll providers.
- Maintain payroll records ensuring they match those held on HiBob HCM.
- Ensure compliance with local payroll legislation and maritime employment standards.
- Liaise with HR and Finance to ensure accurate data flow.
- Assist in the preparation and upload of pension files and generate pension payments.
- Assist with year-end reporting.
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Help prepare payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards.
Experience
- Experience of working with payroll software.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced payroll or Finance team would be advantageous.
Skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and a professional code of conduct in handling confidential information.
