Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Integrated Urgent Primary Care 📍 Central London – Urgent Treatment Centre / IUPC Services 🕒 3 days a week - 2 days onsite and 1 day remote | contract role We are seeking an experienced Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP/ACP) to provide expert leadership within the Integrated Urgent Primary Care (IUPC) service, which includes the UTC, GP Out of Hours, and NHS111 CAS. This is a key leadership role where you’ll oversee and develop a high-performing ANP/ACP team, ensuring safe, seamless, and high-quality care across urgent care services. What you’ll do: * Lead, support and develop a team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners and ECPs. * Work autonomously in urgent care – assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of minor illness and injuries. * Drive service improvement, clinical governance, and workforce development. * Oversee rota management, training, mentoring, and clinical supervision. * Collaborate closely with ED, primary care, and community services to ensure joined-up patient care. What we’re looking for: ✔ MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent). ✔ Independent Prescriber. ✔ Experience in urgent/unscheduled care (A&E, UTC, GP OOH, Walk-in Centre). ✔ Leadership and service development experience. ✔ Strong clinical decision-making, teaching, and mentoring skills.
