An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join a friendly and well-established GP Surgery in Worcester. Serving a patient population of approximately 6,000 patients, the practice prides itself on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
- Delivering childhood and adult immunisations
- Administering travel vaccinations
- Running health promotion and wellbeing clinics
- Ear care and irrigation
- Phlebotomy and venepuncture
- Wound care and dressings
- Supporting minor surgery clinics
- Providing emergency care when required, including CPR and anaphylaxis management
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with clinical governance standards
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives and practice development
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse (RGN) qualification with current NMC registration
- Previous experience working within a GP Surgery, Primary Care, or Community setting
- Experience managing chronic diseases within Primary Care
- A proactive and patient-focused approach to care
- Diabetes Management experience
- Experience supporting long-term condition management clinics
