About the role:

Braehead Foods is investing heavily in the future of its Production Kitchen business. Our premium chef-made products are supporting some of the UK’s leading hotels, stadia, airport lounges and hospitality groups to reduce labour, improve consistency and deliver a quality customer experience. We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to introduce our products to new customers and accelerate the next phase of our growth. This role is focussed on opening doors, building relationships with key decision makers and converting opportunities into long term profitable business. It is not an account management role. We are looking for a hunter!

Your mission:

  • To win new Production Kitchen customers across the UK.
  • Develop long term relationships with Executive chefs, Procurement Managers and F&B Directors.
  • Create opportunities for our Development Chefs to showcase our products.
  • Build and convert a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Become a recognised ambassador for Braehead Foods.
  • Make a measurable contribution to the continued growth of our Production Kitchen business.

About You:

  • You will have 5+ years previous experience in food service or hospitality sales (pub groups, restaurant groups, hotels, wholesalers).
  • An existing network of Executive Chefs, Procurement Managers, F&B Directors.
  • Experience of selling premium foods or value-added solutions.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel UK wide.
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills.
  • A chef background or experience working with chefs would be advantageous to this role. As would a Degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or a related subject.
