Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of our next-generation printer products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware and software product development, with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from concept to mass production. This role requires exceptional communication and organisational skills to drive project success while balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with cross-functional project teams, including engineering (mechanical, electrical, firmware, software), industrial design, quality assurance, supply chain, marketing, and manufacturing.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor progress against the plan and proactively identify and mitigate risk.
• Serve as the central point of contact for all project-related communication.
• Regularly report project status, key milestones, and risks to management and other stakeholders.
• Work with product management and engineering teams to define and manage project scope and technical requirements.
• Ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
• Manage and resolve project issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors for key components, manufacturing, and other services.
• Ensure deliverables meet specifications and timelines.
• Manage the project budget, track expenditures, and ensure the project is delivered within financial constraints.
• Oversee the smooth transition from development to mass production, working closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure a successful product launch.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years managing hardware and software product development projects.
• Demonstrated experience in a product development environment, preferably with consumer electronics, mechatronics, or similar complex systems.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the development of printers, scanners, or other imaging devices.
• Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing processes for consumer electronics.
• Experience working with international and distributed teams.
• Familiarity with firmware, embedded systems, and mechanical engineering principles.
