We’re looking for an experienced IT engineer to manage our company’s computer systems and network. As an IT engineer, you will join our EMEA IT Infrastructure Team. This team is responsible for designing server and storage hardware configurations, managing our infrastructure, managing network systems, and writing and training staff on correct operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, monitor and optimize the company’s IT network and server infrastructure
  • Secure network and server systems
  • Troubleshoot problems with the IT infrastructure
  • Provide input on IT budget for IT infrastructure initiatives, projects and opportunities
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Manage IT projects
  • Coach and train IT team members and non-IT colleagues
  • Create and maintain documentation for Brady standard infrastructure
  • Report to the IT manager on a regular basis

Profile

  • You are fluent in English (other languages such as French, German, or Dutch are an asset)
  • You are a team player
  • You are passionate about technology and know all about servers, storage systems, virtualisation, IT security and networking
  • You have a background in information technology disciplines and a solid experience in a similar role
  • You are a strong communicator
