Bradpole Preschool is seeking a dedicated and motivated Leader/Manager to join our setting. We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual to lead our committed team of trained early years professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who cares deeply about Early Childhood Education and has experience within a preschool or early years setting—ideally with previous leadership or management experience. The role would suit someone with strong organisational and communication skills, and a genuine passion for creating an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing educational programmes and policies in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and safeguarding of all children aged 2–5
- Building positive and effective relationships with parents and carers
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, Local Authority guidance, and Ofsted requirements
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development across the staff team
- Recruiting, training, and managing staff, including termly supervisions, annual appraisals, rota management, and ensuring correct staffing ratios
- Managing the preschool budget with support from administrative staff and in collaboration with the committee
