Job Overview
The Olympus Academy Trust – Bradley Stoke Community School is looking for a permanent Student Support Caseworker to join our pastoral team. The role supports students who have persistent or severe non‑attendance due to emotional based school avoidance, working to improve attendance, reintegrate students, and provide family liaison.
Pay Scale: Grade 8 £32,597 - £35,412 per annum FTE (£12,692 - £13,788 pro rata).
Responsibilities
- Act as a caseworker to support and improve attendance for students with persistent or severe non‑attendance.
- Provide family liaison, coordinating a holistic package of support to improve school attendance.
- Work with the pastoral team to reintegrate students into school and support their success.
- Collaborate with school staff, external agencies and parents to monitor attendance and wellbeing.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in Administration and Organisation.
- Experience of working with children in an educational or safeguarding context.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to safeguarding children.
