Overview: We are pleased to be recruiting for a newly created HR & Recruitment Assistant (Graduate) role to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by supporting and shaping our people processes, from onboarding and recruitment administration to HR compliance and employee lifecycle management. You will play a key role in helping the business attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding & HR Administration: Coordinate inductions for new starters with heads of departments and HR. Prepare and circulate induction packs and welcome materials. Collate, scan, and maintain contracts of employment to ensure GDPR compliance. Update HR systems for new starters, leavers, and annual leave entitlements. Support coordinating probation reviews, annual appraisals, and performance tracking. Draft salary review and promotion and leaver letters as required. Maintain training and development records, including graduate and apprenticeship logs.
- Recruitment & Candidate Pipeline Support: Assist with end-to-end recruitment administration and candidate communications. Support the HR team in building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline across all offices. Review RICS listings and other sources to maintain accurate candidate logs across the UK. Assist with recruitment events, career fairs, and marketing initiatives to attract talent.
- Compliance & Policy Support: Support policy review, company handbook updates, and compliance processes. Ensure mandatory training and compliance modules are completed for all employees.
- Operational & Facilities Support: Arrange desk setups, IT equipment, and phone/E-Sim coordination. Assist with organisation and logistics for company events and recruitment activities.
- Employer Branding & Marketing Support: Collate and prepare content for social media and recruitment campaigns. Support with marketing collateral for recruitment initiatives and events.
Experience required:
- A recent graduate or early-career professional, ideally with a degree in Human Resources, or CIPD qualified or working towards.
- Previous experience in an administrative, HR, or recruitment role (including internships, placements, or part-time work) is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HR systems (e.g. BrightHR) or ATS systems is advantageous.
- A genuine interest in HR, recruitment, and people development.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
