Location: West Midlands, East Midlands & The South of England.

We are excited to announce that, as a result of the continued success of the Training Department, we are currently recruiting full‑time, part‑time and freelance NEBOSH / Health & Safety Trainers for virtual delivery and in venues primarily based in the Midlands and South, with other venues to be confirmed.

Roles and Responsibilities

The role involves the delivery of our existing portfolio of Health & Safety and NEBOSH‑approved training courses (some overnight stays will be required), including:

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
  • NEBOSH HSE Award in Managing Risks and Risk Assessment at Work
  • NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • General Health & Safety training such as work at height and manual handling
  • Ad‑hoc and bespoke Health & Safety training sessions
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Virtual course delivery

Additional Responsibilities

Improving and enhancing our existing courses, in line with legislative updates; planning, designing and developing new courses; training, coaching and auditing new trainers.

Person Specification

Previous experience of delivering NEBOSH National General Certificate and IOSH Managing Safely is desirable. Although experience of delivering asbestos awareness would be beneficial, it is not essential. Ideally, you will hold or be working toward a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or commit to completing it within six months.

If you have the enthusiasm and drive to pursue a career as a trainer, and preferably over three years’ experience as a Health & Safety Trainer, we are able to provide a full programme of training and coaching to develop your skills and help progress your career.

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will possess:

  • An excellent understanding of the UK Health & Safety sector
  • Detailed knowledge of the hierarchy of pertinent legislation
  • An impeccable attitude towards punctuality and time management
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including being away from home as required
  • Full driving licence
