Part Time P401 Qualified Laboratory Analyst required to join our team in Livingston, Scotland. If you are interested in a rewarding career working for a highly respected, successful and established nationwide company, with over 30 years’ trading experience, this is a great opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of bulk samples in line with ISO 17025 accreditation and the reporting of results both internally and externally.
Qualifications
- BOHS P401 is essential
- Minimum of 6 months experience of working in a UKAS accredited laboratory as a qualified analyst
- The candidate should be computer literate with Microsoft 360 and Excel experience
- Experience working with TEAMS is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided
- The candidate must possess good attention to detail, communication skills (both written and verbally) with the ability to manage and organise their own workload effectively
- To work to the company’s established quality and safety procedures strictly at all times
- Maintain continued professional development with training and audits
What We Can Offer You
- The hours of work are 20 hours per week Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 1.00pm or from 1.00pm until 5.00pm.
- A competitive 20 hours part time annual salary starting from £13,780.00 (£13.25 per hour) to £14,237.60 (£13.69) based on industry experience and qualifications
- Company paid healthcare plan (long service award applies at 3 and 5 years)
- A company pension, into which we contribute 3% of qualifying earnings
- 22 days of annual leave (long service award applies at 3 and 5 years)

Bradley Environmental Consultants will pay a joining fee of £4,000.00 to qualified candidates who apply directly to the company, are offered a position and who commence employment for a minimum period of 12 months’ continuous service (pro-rata for part time staff).
