We are excited to announce that as a result of our continued success we are currently recruiting for a Part Time P401 Qualified Laboratory Analyst to join our team in Ossett. Roles and Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of bulk samples in line with ISO 17025 accreditation and the reporting of results both internally and externally.
Person Specification
- BOHS P401 is essential
- Minimum of 6 months experience of working in a UKAS accredited Laboratory as a qualified analyst
- The candidate should be computer literate with Microsoft 360 and Excel experience
- Experience working with TEAMS is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided
- The candidate must possess good attention to detail, communication skills (both written and verbally) with the ability to manage and organise their own workload effectively
- To work to the company’s established quality and safety procedures strictly at all times
- Maintain continued professional development with training and audits
What We Can Offer You
- The hours of work are 20 hours per week Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 1.00pm or from 1.00pm until 5.00pm.
- A competitive 20 hours part time annual salary starting from £13,780.00 (£13.25 per hour) to £14,237.60 (£13.69) based on industry experience and qualifications
- Company paid healthcare plan (long service award applies at 3 and 5 years)
- A company pension, into which we contribute 3% of qualifying earnings
- 22 days of annual leave (long service award applies at 3 and 5 years)
- An additional day of annual leave for your birthday, or the closest working day to your birthday
