We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of our car carriers, waste bins, and the innovative Modalohr train wagon concept.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, executing necessary repairs
- Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs and modifications
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably within the transportation industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
