Volunteers at Bradgate deliver around 20,000 hours of time to the charity each year! – from dry-stone walling to archiving and from leading school groups to litter picking, they support much of what we do.

The Volunteer Coordinator sits within the Trust’s Management Team and works closely alongside other staff. Set among 1,200 acres of incredible green space, a Visitor Centre, amazing ruins and monuments, a café and several staff teams on site, we are looking for a motivated, organised individual who can support and develop our volunteers.

This role is fundamental in ensuring that volunteers are supported, trained, communicated with and recruited when capacity allows. The successful candidate will have experience of working with volunteers and ideally also have experience of working in the environment or heritage sector. In addition to office time coordinating the team, you will be required to meet and greet volunteers, run events and lead a select number of hands-on tasks each week. All of this will be done as part of a proactive staff and volunteer team working together for the benefit of the site.
