An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bradgate Education Partnership as a Site Manager at The Roundhill Academy on a full time permanent basis. As the Academy Site Manager you will be responsible for playing a central role in ensuring the school operates safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard each day. This is a varied and hands-on leadership role where you will take responsibility for the management of the school site, including maintenance, security, cleaning and ongoing development of the buildings and grounds.
You will lead and support the premises team, oversee contractors and site projects, and ensure full compliance with health and safety and statutory requirements, helping to create a secure, well-maintained environment where students and staff can focus on learning. Working closely with the Headteacher, Trust Estates team and wider colleagues, you will contribute directly to the smooth day-to-day running of the school while also supporting longer-term improvements to the site. The role offers a strong degree of autonomy alongside the support of a collaborative Trust network, with opportunities to shape site standards, influence investment in facilities and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working within a secondary school setting and experience with craft skills e.g. plumber, electrician.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety issues including legislation and COSHH.
- Ability to liaise with external contractors including negotiating prices for small jobs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to prioritise workload.
