We're looking for an experienced Civils Manager to lead our civils offering within the branch, driving sales growth, developing customer relationships and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional service every day.

As our Civils Manager, you'll be the face of civils within the branch, leading from the front to deliver outstanding customer service while growing sales and profitability.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, suppliers and customers, you'll use your expertise to provide advice, identify opportunities and ensure our customers receive the right products and service at the right time.
This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same.
From managing key customer accounts and developing new business to supporting branch operations and mentoring your team, you'll play a vital role in the success of the branch.
Responsibilities
Lead the civils offering within the branch, drive sales growth, develop customer relationships, inspire the team, provide expert advice, identify growth opportunities, support branch operations, mentor and develop staff, and ensure high standards of customer service and profitability.
Qualifications
- Experience within the civils, construction or builders' merchant sector.
- Strong knowledge of civils materials and products.
- A proven track record of driving sales and building customer relationships.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
- Confidence handling challenging conversations and negotiating effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A customer‑first mindset with a positive, proactive approach.
