Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Yard Sales Assistant located in Blandford. The Yard Sales Assistant will support the day-to-day operations within the yard, including assisting customers with their purchases, organising and maintaining stock, loading and unloading deliveries, and ensuring the yard is safe and clean. This role involves active manual handling and providing excellent customer service to all clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with purchases and provide excellent customer service.
- Organise and maintain stock within the yard.
- Load and unload deliveries and move materials as required.
- Ensure the yard is clean, tidy and safe at all times.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication ability
- Strong customer service orientation and sales experience
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Familiarity with building materials is a plus
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials
- Basic computer skills are advantageous
