Our newest branch in Saltash now has a vacancy for a Plumbing and Heating Manager. This is a key role, supporting the management team in helping to ensure the plumbing and heating departments continued success. You will demonstrate a professional ability to drive plumbing and heating products, in turn helping to grow sales and margin and to build relationships with both new and existing customers.
You will be the heart of the plumbing and heating operation and strategy; you will drive sales, maximise margins and profitability, control costs and identify new opportunities. You will do this whilst being an inspiring leader, communicator and team builder who is able to interpret complex information and make decisions quickly and sensibly.
In this busy and fast-paced environment, you will use your knowledge and expertise to provide advice and support. You will ensure compliance with company policy and procedure, take action to minimise any risk and ensure your team are fully trained and supported to carry out their roles.
Experience of working in a similar customer-focussed environment, along with commercial know-how are key. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of plumbing and heating products and will ideally have experience of working with suppliers of these products.
