At Bradfords Building Supplies, we've been supporting tradespeople, contractors and homeowners for over 250 years.
As one of the South West's leading independent builders' merchants, we're proud of our reputation for expert advice, exceptional customer service and strong local relationships.
Our Kitchen & Bathroom showrooms are an important part of that experience, helping customers turn their ideas into reality.
We're now looking for an enthusiastic and commercially focused K&B Showroom Manager to lead our showroom team and help grow our Kitchen & Bathroom business.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines a passion for customer service with strong sales and people management skills.
As K&B Showroom Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the showroom, ensuring customers receive expert advice, outstanding service and a seamless experience from their first enquiry through to delivery.
You'll build strong relationships with customers, understand their requirements and use your product knowledge to help them find the right solutions for their kitchen and bathroom projects.
You'll prepare and follow up quotations, manage orders and deliveries, identify opportunities to upsell and develop new business, all while keeping a close eye on sales, margin and overall performance.
You'll also lead and develop your showroom team, creating a positive sales culture where everyone is motivated to deliver great service and achieve their goals.
You'll coach and support your colleagues, set clear expectations and targets, and help develop their product knowledge and sales skills.
You'll take pride in the presentation of the showroom, ensuring displays are clean, attractive and kept up to date with the latest brochures, samples and product information.
You'll work closely with suppliers and the wider business to keep your knowledge of products, trends and the local market up to date.
You'll also keep an eye on what competitors are offering, helping identify opportunities for Bradfords to stand out and grow our market share.
Most importantly, you'll create a showroom experience that customers enjoy and remember, helping turn enquiries into successful projects and long-term relationships.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is confident, commercially minded and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You'll be comfortable leading a team, setting targets and having honest conversations when required, while creating an environment where people feel supported and motivated to succeed.
You'll have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a positive attitude and the ability to remain organised and focused in a busy environment.
You'll be confident negotiating with customers and suppliers and have the drive to identify new opportunities and deliver strong sales results.
Experience within kitchens and bathrooms, retail, sales, showroom management or a similar customer-facing environment would be advantageous.
Most importantly, you'll have a genuine passion for people, sales and delivering great results.
Why Bradfords?
At Bradfords, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
Our values of Commitment, Care, Consistency and Innovation shape how we work with our customers, our colleagues and our suppliers.
In return, you'll join an established and supportive business where you'll have the opportunity to develop your career, lead a team and make a real impact on the success of your showroom.
If you're an ambitious sales professional who loves working with customers, developing people and creating great spaces, we'd love to hear from you.
