Key responsibilities

  • Hold and support families classified as receiving more Early Help within the Bradford District Safeguarding Children Partnership Continuum of Need and Risk Identification Guidance.
  • Engage children and families and carry out comprehensive assessment and planning using family‑led analysis.
  • Work in partnership with other professionals involved with the children and families to deliver tailored intervention that makes a positive difference.
  • Understand and work within Early Help policies and procedures appropriate to children and families.
  • Provide peer support, mentoring and development to the Family Support Team, assisting with development and using track record of achieving high levels of engagement with families presenting with complex needs.
  • Support the Team Manager to manage workflow, including family allocations, discussions and assessment of safeguarding risk.
  • Support performance using information from the Family Support Scorecard, key performance indicators and audits.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Team Manager, attending meetings and supporting the team.

We are looking for a candidate with over 3 years experience of high quality delivery within a relevant area, who has also provided support to colleagues and holds a minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
