We are looking for a talented compliance officer to join our team! This role supports BSL to ensure the company complies with all H&S, AVSEC and other applicable legal regulations and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Become a subject matter expert in Security / Safety / Facilities as directed by the Health and Safety and Compliance Manager.
- Maintain systems and quality assurance to ensure the company complies with all aspects of relevant legislation and contractual requirements.
- Support the full range of Compliance training activities described in the Quality Guidance Manual.
- Maintain the ISO 45001 standard Safety and CAA standard Security Management Systems as directed by the Health and Safety and Compliance Manager.
- Provide proactive leadership and be a role model for the company values.
- Intern facility maintenance and contractor planner to achieve compliance with contractual and legal standards.
- Point of contact for contractors including PTW’s and PPMs.
- Conduct weekly and monthly critical facility checks and ensure records are maintained.
- Support in the full range of compliance training activities.
- Perform the roles of Internal Quality Assurer and Training Administrator as set out in the Quality Guidance Manual.
- Maintain training and other records to meet legal and contractual standards.
- Conduct reference and background checks.
- Manage Airside pass, CRC, CTC, GSAT and other required applications.
- Deputise for the Health and Safety and Compliance Manager as required in all situations including customer meetings, incident management and all audits.
- Other tasks required of the role and within capability as per business needs.
- Airport Security Manager (Level 3). Essential if directed to be a Security SME.
- IOSH Managing Safely. Essential if directed to be a Safety SME.
- Nebosh General Certificate. Desirable for Safety SME.
- DNXCT holder. Essential.
- RFX Instructor. Essential for Security SME.
- Recognized Training Qualification (TAP). Desirable.
- DFT accredited Threat Assessor. Essential.
