About the Role
Bradford Primary School, part of the Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to support learning across the school. The role involves working with children aged 2 to 7 in the classroom and supporting the teacher in classroom management and pupil access to learning.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher.
- Support access to learning for pupils.
- Provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
- Occasionally provide support outside the main teaching area.
Qualifications
- Passionate about working with children aged 2–7.
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years is preferred but not essential.
- Required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS).
- Willingness to attend mandatory training at the DMAT Central Offices.
