Bradford Theatres is looking to appoint to the casual register a casual Bars and Catering Supervisor to work across three venues – St George's Concert Hall, Alhambra Theatre, The Studio.

You will need demonstrable experience working at a Supervisory level in a busy bar / restaurant / multi-outlet venue / hospitality or catering venue. You will need to be enthusiastic, be able to work within the role to the highest standard in a customer facing environment delivering a Food and Beverage experience above and beyond the customers' expectations. The work is physically demanding on a daily basis.

As well as serving customers, the role encompasses ensuring the completion of cleaning schedules (including enhanced cleaning in the current environment), stocking-up service areas, developing and training staff members, responding to any customer queries and / or issues in the absence of a Manager, assisting with the banking procedure when required and carrying out any duties assigned by a manager that may fall out of the job profile according to the needs of the business.

Applicants must have the ability to work both using their own initiative and as part of a team, and display willingness to learn and update personal training as required. They must also be able to adapt their style of management to suit the needs of the individual staff members that they will be supervising.

A working knowledge of all relevant Health & Safety procedures and policies would be desirable, but not essential as training will be given: The Licensing Act, Trade Descriptions Act, The Weights and Measures Act, The Food and Drugs Act, Food Safety Act and Food Standards Act, Natasha's Law etc.

You will also be assisting in the management of the cellar, taking guidance from the Food and Beverage Managers. This will include Line Cleaning, acceptance and checking of deliveries / returns, maintaining cleanliness.
