The Logistical Admin Support Worker provides essential logistical support to community Nursing teams across Primary Care Networks, enabling the teams to focus on patient-facing care. They are a vital team member contributing to the delivery of high-quality care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ordering equipment via the NHS procurement webpage
  • Managing stock levels of dressings and equipment
  • Maintaining databases to ensure safe and effective care delivery
  • Supporting the District Nurse in managing and providing an effective workspace
  • Visiting various locations across Airedale to pick up or deliver documents and equipment
  • Using e-technologies to improve team workflows
  • Maintaining effective office systems
  • Identifying improvements to enhance individual, team, and service performance
  • Collecting information for statistical analysis
  • Inputting data into computer systems and ensuring data quality in the Patient Administration System
  • Assisting in maintaining stock supplies
  • Ensuring the work area is fit for purpose
  • Adhering to policies and procedures
  • Contributing to risk and governance management
  • Supporting project work
  • Acting as an ambassador for administrative services, demonstrating exemplary behaviour
