Passenger Transport Service is seeking to recruit 1 x Transport Supervisor for the core PTS service. This service is part of the overall Travel Assistance Service, which collaborates with various stakeholders to deliver the Council’s policy on travel assistance.
The post of Transport Supervisor supports passenger transport for both children and adults using the Council’s fleet of minibuses. The service transports over 700 vulnerable passengers daily across the district.
Main purposes of this post:
- Support the PTS Operations Management team in providing a safe and cost-efficient transport service for home-to-school and day care services.
- Supervise and provide first-line management for approximately 140 staff, including Drivers and Passenger Escorts.
- Ensure the team delivers a high-standard, safe, and cost-effective service that meets clients’ needs.
