Job Details:

  • Salary scale: £23,517 – £26,585 per annum FTE
  • Hours: Various Shift Patterns available
  • Base: Kenburgh House, Central Bradford, with occasional travel across the district
  • Responsible to: Service Manager
  • Annual Leave: 25 days pro-rata
  • Pension: Contributory pension scheme, auto-enrolled (conditions apply)
  • Probationary period: 6 months

About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a positive difference to mental health and wellbeing? Do you have experience supporting individuals in mental health settings and managing challenging situations? If yes, we want to hear from you.

Mind in Bradford, in partnership with The Cellar Trust, is leading the new NHS-funded Safe Spaces programme. The service offers non-clinical support in a variety of settings for people in crisis, including one-to-one support, outreach, community cafes, overnight accommodation for young people, and in-reach services. The goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment to help individuals manage their feelings and access ongoing support.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

  • Line management of Crisis Support Workers
  • Ensure effective service delivery across Bradford
  • Manage issues such as safeguarding and incidents following set procedures
  • Support the Service Manager with safeguarding, recruitment, reporting, record auditing, and performance management
  • Provide crisis support via phone and face-to-face, including group interventions

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong team management skills
  • Experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges
  • Ability to work with vulnerable populations with multiple risk factors
  • Inspiring hope and belief in recovery

Shifts:

Available 7 days a week, including:

  • 11:30 – 19:30
  • 19:00 – 02:30
