The SEND Services would like to recruit a Business Support Officer who is enthusiastic, customer focused and flexible to work within the Education Psychology Team and the Social communication and Interaction Team (SCIL Team).
You will provide administrative support assistance as and when required, general office duties, including the use of Microsoft Office packages, CIVICA & Capita ONE systems for data entry, front line customer contact providing exceptional customer service, dealing with confidential information, updating electronic diaries, taking meeting minutes, Word processing, have the ability to process data on to complex spreadsheet, process sales invoice and credit notes and have the ability to deal with customer queries regarding calculations, raise purchase orders on SAP and deal with vendor queries.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a team player and have a flexible approach to the role.
- Be able to work on their own initiative.
- Have excellent organisational skills and be able to deal with conflicting demands.
- Be able to communicate verbally and in writing with a wide range of people.
- Have experience of working in a busy office, working to deadlines, organising own workload and prioritise accordingly. Also be able to work at home effectively and efficiently.
- Work proactively with key staff and managers to provide an interface between services, members of the public, other public sector bodies and external agencies.
- Have the highest standards of customer care and professionalism.
- Be able to deal with and resolve requests for advice/help.
