House are currently recruiting for Employment Specialist Advisers to support the delivery of the Connect to Work model across Bradford District. This is an opportunity to work within a purpose-driven organisation helping individuals with health conditions or barriers to secure meaningful employment and sustainable jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a small caseload within communities, delivering one-to-one support to help prepare clients for, enter, and sustain employment.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, health professionals, community stakeholders and employers to deliver a tailored and person‑centred service that promotes social inclusion, well being, and independence through work.
  • Spend at least 60% of time in the community, meeting participants in settings comfortable to them, and building relationships with employers and referral organisations.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to secure paid employment for at least 50% of participants.
  • Use a systematic approach, using the programme's management and Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with ongoing reporting integrated into daily tasks.
  • Provide impactful, timely and individualised support to clients.
  • Ensure contractual targets and KPIs are met.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent SkillsHouse in localities across the district.
