The predicted salary is between 22950 - 28050 Β£ per year.
Hours: 30 hrs per week (TTO) + 2 days. The Medical Needs and Hospital Education Service provides education and welfare for all children of compulsory school age residing in the Bradford Local Authority area who cannot attend full time school due to health and medical needs. Our provision is based at Owlet Road in Shipley, Airedale General Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary.
We have a vacancy for an Education Engagement Worker and are looking for someone to fulfil this role and become a valued member of our team. The right candidate will be able to effectively support learning and engage children and young people, encouraging them back into education after physical or mental health issues. Effective training will be provided where necessary.
The position is based at Owlet Road in Shipley but there is a requirement to travel to homes and schools in the Bradford district. Car use is essential for this role and the successful candidate must have a driving licence and car. An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post.
