Bradford Survive & Thrive Consortium
Hours: 19.5 hours per week
Salary: £27,852 - £29,439 (pro rata), actual £14,679 to £15,515
Location: Calderdale Women Centre
Accountable to: Bradford Counselling Team Manager
Duration: Funded until 31/3/28 (with 15 hours per week secured until 31/3/30)
WomenCentre are part of the Bradford Survive and Thrive consortium delivering specialist domestic abuse counselling across the Bradford District.
For this role you will be expected to have experience of working with adult victim-survivors of domestic abuse, experience of triage or telephone helpline work, along with experience of working with multi-agency partners.
Personal and job-related skills will include:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
- Good written and verbal communication and I.T skills
- Knowledge and understanding of how domestic abuse impacts on adults and children
- Knowledge of child safeguarding and vulnerable adult policies and procedures
- Experience of trauma-informed, person-centered ways of working
