Role Description

We are looking for social workers/experienced social workers to join our dedicated team in the West area.

This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.

  • You will work creatively with older people and carers to maximise outcomes.
  • Contribute to the provision of social care services in the community and other settings.
  • Provide an effective social work service including assessment, case planning and reviews.
  • Safeguard adults including those at significant risk of harm, assess and manage risk, and undertake critical decision making including taking professional responsibility for decisions.
  • Operate a social work service within departmental policy, practice and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence is required unless a disability prevents this.
  • Must be registered with Social Work England.
