Hourly Rate: £13.26ph - £13.47ph

Contract Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 18 hours per week

Work Location: Mary Seacole Court Extra Care Setting, Bradford.

There are 51 properties within Mary Seacole Court where individuals who require varying levels of support to maintain their independence and daily living are supported by the staff team.

Our Department of Adult Social Care at Bradford Council has an exciting opportunity for a Reablement Assistant. Our team is looking for flexible and multifaceted individuals who can work within an Extra Care setting team.

To work with a diverse service user group, predominantly with adults aged 35 and over with differing disabilities, mental health, dementia and complex needs.

  • Support service users with their individual needs and daily living skills, encouraging independence where appropriate, supporting and maintaining happy healthy lives for those accessing services.
  • Greeting, assisting and directing visitors within the service.
  • Ensure medication is administered in accordance with the medication policy.
  • Complete clear and concise daily reports and support plans.

An Enhanced DBS check will be conducted for appointees to this post.
