  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Drive an HGV class2 Bin Wagon, sometimes in challenging environments
  • Collect household Waste, recycling, Bulk Waste and garden waste across the district
  • Work closely with your team to complete daily routes safely and efficiently
  • Handle a range of , containers including wheeled bins, sacks and commercial bins Bulk Waste,
  • Help ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, safe and well maintained
  • Deliver a courteous, helpful service to residents and local businesses

This is an active, physical role - you’ll be on your feet and moving throughout the day - and you’ll finish each shift knowing you’ve made a real difference in keeping your community clean, safe and running smoothly.

Who We’re Looking For

Experience in waste collection or similar outdoor work is helpful, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be

  • Professional drivers, with strong confident driving skills particularly when reversing.
  • Physically fit and happy to work outdoors all year round
  • Motivated, reliable, and team-focused with a strong work ethic.
  • Reliable, Safety-conscious and Team focused at all times
  • Professional and respectful when dealing with members of the public
