The main responsibilities of this role:
- To make a positive contribution to the prevention and early help offer, in particular through universal and targeted activities to increase take up of early education, statutory education as families arrive in Bradford and reduce the numbers of children missing education.
- To support, engage and advise families and schools around Elective Home Education.
- To make informal enquiries where children may be electively home educated and consider whether children are in receipt of a suitable full-time education.
- To respond to the needs and work in a multi-agency way to support children who are electively home educated and are not receiving suitable full-time education.
