The Bradford RESET service, which stands for Recognising, Engaging and Supporting Everyone to Transform, is an innovative, trauma‑informed approach to supporting individuals who have caused or who are causing harm in their intimate and/or family relationships. Partnered with Bridge and Create Strength Group, it combines domestic abuse services with a new programme for adults aged 16+ who cause harm, offering therapeutic support to individuals and families.
Case Worker – part of the Bradford RESET team, dedicated to delivering therapeutic and proactive support for people who have harmed or are harming others in family or intimate relationships.
Responsibilities- Engage with people aged 16+ of any gender who are harming or have harmed in their relationships.
- Use a trauma‑informed model to address the root causes of domestic abuse, proactively working with resistance and compliance challenges.
- Deliver therapeutic individual and group work programmes that focus on behaviour change and broader health and wellbeing determinants.
- Collaborate with colleagues and inclusive practices to maximise patient engagement and safety.
- Track progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with policy and legal requirements.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development sessions.
Part‑time, 33 hours per week on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Continuation is subject to funding. Enhanced disclosure and a barring check will be carried out. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred, as travel to service sites is required. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
