The Bradford Council Road Safety Team’s core purpose is to prevent road traffic casualties across the district by delivering education, training, and public awareness campaigns that help people of all ages travel safely. We are looking for a Road Safety Trainer to join our dedicated team in the Road Safety Team. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.

The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Deliver a programme of practical (child pedestrian, cycling, in car safety) road safety training initiatives within set guidelines, as agreed by the Road Safety Team, with minimum support and direction.
  • Deliver road safety training, presentations, talks & lessons to all age groups.
  • Be responsible for the supervision and safety of groups of children taking part in practical training initiatives.
