We are looking for an Allotment Officer to join our dedicated team in Clean & Green. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.

The main responsibilities of this role:

  • To manage the allotments in accordance with Council policies including sustainability and equalities.
  • To maintain records of tenancies, statistics relating to allotments, waiting lists, serve notices, investigate complaints, concessionary rent policies.
  • To liaise with forums, committees, environmental groups, societies, and other departments of the Council. This could include attending events and meetings of allotment lobbying groups.
  • To stay up to date with all current legislation in relation to allotments.
  • To deal with queries relating to allotments.
