Bradford Council’s Leisure Service is the largest leisure provider in the district. Our organisation aims to provide a quality service in a friendly, clean, and safe environment. Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and responsible individual to join our team. The role is crucial in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all visitors to our sports centre. We are looking for a Leisure Attendant / Swim Teacher to join our dedicated team at Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.

Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for lifeguarding duties, Swim Teaching and Reception duties
  • To follow Bradford Swimming Development Syllabus and A.S.A. when appropriate
  • To plan, prepare and deliver lessons within the above framework to meet National Curriculum Key Stage 2 targets in consultation with individual schools.
  • To ensure a safe learning environment for all users of the service
