Bradford Aquatics – Elite Training. The Elite Training Team is Bradford Aquatics’ performance-focused team, designed to support swimmers with the commitment, ability, and ambition to reach their full competitive potential. Led by experienced coaches, the programme provides structured training, technical development, and competitive opportunities to help swimmers progress through regional and national pathways. The team promotes excellence, discipline, teamwork, and resilience, creating an environment where swimmers can thrive both in and out of the pool.
Bradford Aquatics is looking for an experienced Development Swim Coach to join its Elite Swim Training Team. Working alongside the Development Coach and Senior Coach, this is an exciting and rewarding role with opportunities for professional development. The position includes early morning and evening sessions, so flexibility is essential.
Main Responsibilities
- To plan, coach or lead sessions being delivered to the Elite Training scheme squad swimmers.
- To liaise with the local base clubs alongside the Development Coach to create a fundamental swimming development programme in line with the LTAD national programme.
- Create, develop and manage developmental projects to cater for the differing stages of a swimmer's development, to skill development level.
- To create links between the lesson and schools programme and the base swimming clubs in line with LTAD philosophy.
An Enhanced DBS check will be conducted for all appointees to this post.
