We’re seeking a passionate and hands‑on Catering Technician to join our Catering & Hospitality team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of industry talent. This is a fantastic opportunity to step away from the pressures of service while still working in a dynamic kitchen environment—supporting practical sessions, sharing your expertise, and maintaining high professional standards across our training kitchens and restaurant facilities. If you’re organised, proactive, and committed to excellence, we’d love to hear from you. This is a part‑time role working 18.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day proactive management of the HR system (PeopleXD) and support the Learning Management System (LMS) platforms + other systems as required.
- Assist with the delivery of key HR projects and implementation of systems.
- Ongoing maintenance of the systems to ensure the data within the HR and other related systems is kept up to date and ‘clean’.
- Be the first point of contact for HR systems queries across the college.
- Maintaining system(s), analysing data, ensuring data integrity and running queries.
- Create and manage both regular and ad hoc reports, providing a narrative on trends and reasons.
- Deliver training and technical support to the HR team in conjunction with the IT Systems Trainer.
- Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
- Optimise HRIS processes, integrating new software and performing diagnostic tests.
- Map out process flows and document accordingly.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of people at all levels within the organisation.

- Recent industrial or commercial experience in an area appropriate to the job specification.
