Responsibilities
- Working with the Bradford 2025 Audiences (Press, Digital, Marketing, Design, Ticketing) team to profile the organisation’s impact on the region.
- Securing local and national media coverage for selected areas of Bradford 2025’s activities.
- Acting as a point of contact for partners and stakeholders on selected areas of Bradford 2025’s activities.
- Writing and preparing clear and effective PR materials including press releases, briefing documents, press-packs and responses to media enquiries.
- Help to organise media and PR activities including press launches, interviews, photo-calls, and other on-the ground press activity.
- Briefing spokespeople across programmes of work and overseeing media interviews. Working with Bradford 2025 press team, evaluation team and other departments as necessary to identify and create case studies that exemplify the Story of Change for media stories and Bradford 2025 preliminary evaluation.

- Volunteering
- Cultural Learning
Job criteria
- Demonstrable experience of securing national and local press coverage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in writing press releases, briefing notes and case studies.
- Good knowledge of local and regional media landscape.
- Comfortable with the media on telephone and in person, and communicating with a range of internal and external contacts and organisations.
- Organised, self-motivated and able to work across a range of events simultaneously, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong storytelling skills.
