Working Pattern
40 hours per week, all year round, 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis. Guideline shift patterns of 06:30–15:00 or 11:30–20:00.

Provided if required for a small daily cost. Pick‑up points from Reading town to Bradfield College each day and return journey.

The Role
Customer Service Assistant in the Catering Team, delivering breakfast, lunch and dinner and ensuring the smooth running of day‑to‑day catering operations while complying with food safety and health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for breakfast, lunch and dinner food service.
- Assist other members of staff to achieve departmental goals.
- Provide willing and positive assistance to colleagues, including other duties as required.
- Attend all relevant training sessions and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company requirements for fire, safety, health and hygiene.
- Report health and safety issues to line manager, including all accidents and near misses.
- Clean all work areas during and after use and remove all waste to the appropriate area.
- Receive stock, store and check for quality and quantity; ensure all stock is dated and rotated.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by manager.
