Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for Full-Time Community Care Assistant to provide high-quality care to service users in and around Swadlincote. This is a rewarding role where you will support individuals to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Due to the nature of personal care and in line with genuine occupational requirements, this role is open to female applicants only. No previous care experience is required, as a full training induction program will be provided by our in-house trainers.
Pay and Benefits
- £12.71 – £15.69 per hour (average earnings depending on qualifications)
- Paid mileage
- £5 monthly CM2000 allowance
- Paid every 4 weeks

What is involved within the role of a Community Carer?
As a Community Care Assistant, you will visit service users in their homes and support them with daily living tasks while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Typical duties include:
- Assisting with transfers and all aspects of personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Delivering personal care in line with individual care plans
- Assisting with and administering medication in accordance with training and company policy
- Supporting with daily household tasks, including cleaning and domestic duties
- Preparing meals and supporting nutrition and hydration needs
- Supporting with continence care and personal hygiene needs
- Completing accurate and timely care records in line with GDPR requirements
- Reporting concerns in line with safeguarding procedures and company policy
- Promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times
- Providing companionship and emotional support
