Bradcare is seeking part-time female Community Care Assistants with driving licences in Swadlincote. Founded in 2005, Bradcare has proudly supported individuals and families across South Derbyshire for over 20 years. We are currently recruiting caring, reliable, and committed individuals to join our growing team as Community Care Assistants. Due to the nature of intimate personal care provided, this position is open to female applicants only, in accordance with the genuine occupational requirement provisions of the Equality Act 2010.

About the Role

As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals within their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make a real difference, helping people remain independent whilst receiving the support they need with dignity and respect. You will work as part of a supportive, professional team delivering care tailored to each individual's needs, preferences, and lifestyle.

Where possible, care rounds are allocated geographically to minimise travel time and support a positive work-life balance. As Bradcare continues to grow, opportunities may become available across additional areas within South Derbyshire and neighbouring communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Supporting mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home
  • Assisting with medication administration in accordance with training and company procedures
  • Preparing meals and supporting nutrition and hydration
  • Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
  • Supporting individuals living with dementia and other complex care needs
  • Carrying out light housekeeping and domestic duties
  • Maintaining accurate electronic care records in accordance with GDPR requirements
  • Reporting safeguarding concerns or changes in wellbeing promptly
  • Delivering care in line with individual care plans and Bradcare's quality standards

Requirements

Applicants must have:
