About the Role

  • As a Community Care Assistant, you will visit service users in their own homes to provide practical and emotional support while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
  • Assisting with all aspects of personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Supporting with transfers and mobility
  • Delivering care in line with individual care plans
  • Assisting with and administering medication following training and company policy
  • Supporting with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration
  • Carrying out household and domestic tasks
  • Supporting continence care and personal hygiene
  • Completing accurate care records in line with GDPR requirements
  • Reporting concerns in line with safeguarding procedures
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
