About the Role
As a Community Care Assistant, you will providehigh-quality, person-centred care to individuals within their own homes. Everyvisit is an opportunity to make a real difference, helping people remainindependent whilst receiving the support they need with dignity and respect.
You will work as part of a supportive, professional teamdelivering care tailored to each individual's needs, preferences and lifestyle.
This is afull-time contracted position, with workavailable across:
- Morningshifts
- Teatime & Evening shifts
- Emergencycover calls where required
Guaranteed contracted hours are available for successfulapplicants.

We currently provide care services throughout:
- Swadlincote
- Linton
- Overseal
- Newhall
- Midway
- ChurchGresley
- CastleGresley
- Hartshorne
Where possible, care rounds are allocated geographically tominimise travel time and support a positive work-life balance.
As Bradcare continues to grow, opportunities may becomeavailable across additional areas within South Derbyshire and neighbouringcommunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Providingpersonal care including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Supportingmobility, transfers and safe movement around the home
- Assistingwith medication administration in accordance with training and companyprocedures
- Preparingmeals and supporting nutrition and hydration
- Providingcompanionship and meaningful social interaction
- Supportingindividuals living with dementia and other complex care needs
- Carryingout light housekeeping and domestic duties
- Maintainingaccurate electronic care records in accordance with GDPR requirements
- Reportingsafeguarding concerns or changes in wellbeing promptly
- Deliveringcare in line with individual care plans and Bradcare's quality standards

Requirements

- AFull UK driving licence (essential)
- Femaleapplicants only (genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act2010)
- Rightto work in the UK
- Availabilityto work a mixture of mornings, lunchtimes, evenings and emergency covercalls
- Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills
- Acompassionate, dependable and professional approach
- Agenuine passion for helping people live independently and with dignity
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential.
If you are new to care, full training, ongoing support andmentoring will be provided. We recruit for values, compassion and commitment asmuch as experience.
