About the Role

As a Community Care Assistant, no two days are the same. You will provide essential support to individuals with a variety of needs, helping them maintain independence while feeling safe, respected, and valued in their own homes.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing personal care (washing, dressing, personal hygiene)
  • Supporting with meal preparation, shopping, and light household duties
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Prompting or administering medication in line with care plans
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes to the office / on-call
  • Travelling between service users within the Swadlincote area (mileage paid)
Pay Rates

Non-Qualified Carers

  • Weekdays: £12.65 per hour
  • Weekends: £13.00 per hour

Qualified Carers (Level 2+)

  • Weekdays: £13.10 per hour
  • Weekends: £14.00 per hour

Enhanced rates may apply depending on hours worked.
