About the RoleAs a Community Care Assistant, no two days are the same. You will provide essential support to individuals with a variety of needs, helping them maintain independence while feeling safe, respected, and valued in their own homes.
Your responsibilities will include:- Providing personal care (washing, dressing, personal hygiene)
- Supporting with meal preparation, shopping, and light household duties
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Prompting or administering medication in line with care plans
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes to the office / on-call
- Travelling between service users within the Swadlincote area (mileage paid)
Non-Qualified Carers
- Weekdays: £12.65 per hour
- Weekends: £13.00 per hour
Qualified Carers (Level 2+)
- Weekdays: £13.10 per hour
- Weekends: £14.00 per hour
Enhanced rates may apply depending on hours worked.
