Due to the nature of personal care and in line with genuine occupational requirements, this position is open to female applicants only.
About the Role - Community Care Assistant - Part Time
- As a Community Care Assistant, you will visit service users in their own homes to provide practical and emotional support while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
- Assisting with all aspects of personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Supporting with transfers and mobility.
- Delivering care in line with individual care plans.
- Assisting with and administering medication following training and company policy.
- Supporting with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration.
- Carrying out household and domestic tasks.
- Supporting continence care and personal hygiene.
- Completing accurate care records in line with GDPR requirements.
- Reporting concerns in line with safeguarding procedures.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
