Job Role Overview

As aFlexible Bank Care Assistant, your role is to provide essential personal care and support to individuals across a variety of shifts, helping them maintainindependence and dignityin the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene
• Assisting with meals, drinks, and light household tasks
• Offering companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
• Prompting or administering medication in line with individual care plans
• Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
• Travelling between service users withinSwadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
• Workingflexible bank shifts, including weekdays and weekends, as needed

Pay Rates

Non-Qualified Carers:

Weekdays: £14.18 per hour

Qualified Carers (Level 2+):

Weekdays: £14.68 per hour

(Enhanced rates may apply depending on hours worked)

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle
• Availability for flexible shifts, including weekdays and weekends
• Caring, reliable, and compassionate nature
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous care experience is welcome butnot essential– full training provided
