Job Role Overview
As aFlexible Bank Care Assistant, your role is to provide essential personal care and support to individuals across a variety of shifts, helping them maintainindependence and dignityin the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene
- Assisting with meals, drinks, and light household tasks
- Offering companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
- Prompting or administering medication in line with individual care plans
- Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
- Travelling between service users withinSwadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
- Workingflexible bank shifts, including weekdays and weekends, as needed
Pay Rates
Non-Qualified Carers:
Weekdays: £14.18 per hour
Qualified Carers (Level 2+):
Weekdays: £14.68 per hour
(Enhanced rates may apply depending on hours worked)

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Availability for flexible shifts, including weekdays and weekends
- Caring, reliable, and compassionate nature
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous care experience is welcome butnot essential– full training provided
