As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make a positive difference, helping people maintain their independence while receiving the support they need with dignity and respect. You will deliver person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs, preferences, and lifestyle. Working as part of a supportive and professional team, you will also contribute to a positive work-life balance by planning care rounds efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with all aspects of personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Supporting mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home
- Assisting with medication administration in accordance with training and company procedures
- Supporting meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Supporting individuals living with dementia and other complex needs
- Carrying out light housekeeping and domestic duties
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation in line with GDPR requirements
- Reporting safeguarding concerns and changes in wellbeing promptly
- Delivering care in accordance with individual care plans and Bradcare's quality standards
